Visiting the home of a musical genius was a surreal feeling: Aneesh Vidyashankar During a world tour in 2014, | visited Beethoven'’s house in Bonn, Germany. Standing in the birthplace of such a genius was surreal. It felt like a connection across time. The trip also offered another unforgettable encounter. At the Museum of Fine Arts in Washington D.C., | had the rare privilege of seeing a Antonio Stradivari violin - one of the world’s most expensive instruments. As a violinist, it gave me goosebumps, to say the least.
